Yearly Accomplishments

2003 – I got my big break, finally!  Now it’s my turn to show what I can do.  I raced at Montgomery County Quarter Midget Racing Club (MCQMRC) track in Phoenixville.  I won my first race, and two more in the seven that I ran that year.

2004 – I turned 9 before the season started and that put me in a senior class.  This was my first full season and I was raring to go!  I won opening night, had 9 top five finishes that year.  I attended my first states race “WOW, was this an experience.”  I did well and we all learned a lot.

2005 – Another year of learning, I ran a full season at MCQMRC and a partial season on asphalt at DQMRC (Honeybrook raceway).  I had a GREAT year racing on dirt, 16 races with 5 wins, and 15 top 3 finishes.  I was also able to set and still hold the track record in Sr. Stock.  Although asphalt racing was a new challenge, I was able to accomplish 2 wins in Sr. Stock, and made 4 A-mains in Sr. Honda.  This is also where I broke my thumb racing.

2006 – I got my green car this year, I am very excited about this year as I feel I have more confidence and am ready to go, go, go!  In addition to running my Sr. Stock, I started racing a World Formula, they are fast!!

  • On Dirt – 5 top 2 finishes, I won the States Race in Sr. Stock and World Formula.

  • On Asphalt – I won the Points Championship in Sr. Stock, with 7 wins and 10 top 3 finishes!  YEAH!

2007 – I sold the green car (boo hoo), but replaced it with the colorful car, that won the “Pretty Car” competition.  I guess this is the price you pay for growing.  I went from Sr. Stock to Light 160 the competition is tough in this class.

  • Dirt – 8 top 5 finishes.  States race - I finished 3rd in the 160 and 8th in the World Formula in the A-mains.
  • Asphalt – Light 160 = 19 races I made 17 A-mains and won 2 B-mains.  I finished 4th in points and was 3rd fastest for the Beat the Clock competition.

2008 – This year I definitely kept busy on the track, I am now running 3 classes, Heavy 160, WF and a Half Midget.  In the Half class, I was able to run against people that I always loved to watch.  On top of running the States Race, we went to our very first Grand’s event in Illinois.  I loved it and can’t wait to go next year.  I qualified all 3 cars into the A-main.

  • Dirt – 9 top 3 finishes at MCQMRC and we also ran well at the States and Grands .
  • We finished 2nd in Heavy 160, A-Main at the Grands.
  • Asphalt – We ran very well, we were in every A-Main, unfortunately we missed 2 points races but rallied back to a 4th place points finish in both classes.
